Meet the Inter-Church Ministries of New England Team
A (very) Brief History
Inter-Church Ministries was founded in 1979 by Dick Woehr to serve churches in Maine.
After Dick felt unable to continue due to health concerns, Arthur Cotton took over as director, and continued to grow the ministry.
Nate Ewer became our director and led us to serve between 400-500 churches in Maine, New England, and into Canada.
After Nate's passing, Dick Woehr and Art Cotton agreed to serve as interim co-directors until a new director was chosen.
George Hicks was our next director and served faithfully for 3 years but had to step down due to health issues with his wife, Anne.
Jeff Tenney was chosen to be our director beginning January of 2015 after serving on the board for more than 7 years and is currently still serving in this position.
